The 510-foot tall Regatta condominium tower features dual elliptical glass curtain walls dramatically encircling the building. Its unusual curved geometry changes shape several times over the height of the tower. Engineered with a non-orthogonal core, it implements an efficient lateral system. The flat-plate concrete structure uses exposed exterior concrete walls with punched openings to supplement the concrete core walls, strengthening the building’s unique shape. The result is a tower that seamlessly blends structural function with architectural form.
