An expert in identifying and resolving problems in both new and existing construction, Boris has spent three decades working on the design and analysis of a wide range of projects, including high-rise and mid-rise commercial, residential, retail, and numerous other project types. Boris has unique international experience in the design of high-rise buildings. He is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois and the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.
Boris holds a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering (Structural) from the University of Civil Engineering in Moscow and a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering (Structural) from the Research Institute of Concrete in Moscow.
With experience that includes numerous residential, hospitality, and university projects, Farhad brings more than three decades of engineering expertise to CSA. As Vice President, he is especially committed to delivering projects on time and on budget for our clients.
Farhad is a member of the American Concrete Institute of Illinois, the American Institute of Steel Construction, the Structural Engineering Association of Illinois, and the American Institute of Architects. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, a Masters of Architecture, Masters of Civil Engineering, and Doctor of Philosophy, all from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
Committed to the highest level of client service and attention to detail, each of Nick’s projects benefits from his knowledge and expertise as Vice President. With nearly twenty five years of engineering experience, Nick has worked on a wide variety of project types throughout his professional career, including numerous healthcare and laboratory facilities, office buildings, mixed-use buildings, industrial projects, and rehabilitation of existing structures.
Nick is a member of the American Concrete Institute of Illinois, the American Institute of Steel Construction, and the Structural Engineering Association of Illinois. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
With an extensive portfolio that includes high and low-rise office buildings, multi-family housing, hospital and medical research projects, industrial facilities, and retail projects, Ralph brings more than three decades of engineering experience to CSA. As Senior Vice President, Ralph brings diverse expertise and exceptional efficiency to each project.
Ralph is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois, the American Concrete Institute of Illinois, the Chicago Committee on High Rise Buildings, the City of Chicago Structural Task Force Committee, and numerous other local and national organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
From schematic design to final analysis, Robert has served as Project Manager or Project Engineer on a diverse range of project types, including commercial, residential, and institutional buildings. With more than forty years of professional experience, his expertise spans the use of structural steel, cast-in-place concrete, post-tensioned concrete, pre-tensioned concrete, masonry, and timber.
Robert is a member of the American Concrete Institute and the Precast Concrete Institute. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architectural Studies/Structural Option from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
With more than 30 years of experience as a structural engineer, Brian has led the structural design of a wide variety of projects, including residential, hospitality, education, healthcare and mixed-use buildings. He is one of our leaders in developing innovative, efficient lateral systems for highrise and midrise buildings, allowing us to incorporate the best possible structural systems per the unique demands of each project. His expertise in many diverse structural systems and his organized, creative approach to problem solving help lead each of his projects to success.
Brian is a member of the Structural Engineer’s Association of Illinois, the American Institute of Steel Construction and the American Concrete Institute of Illinois. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering/Structural Major, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
As founder and President, Chris brings more than five decades of experience to CSA. Established in 1974 as Chris P. Stefanos Associates, his structural engineering firm has grown to become one of the most prominent independent structural engineering firms in the country. Today, Chris is responsible for overall direction of CSA’s diverse and award-winning project portfolio.
Chris is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Structural Engineering Association of Illinois, Seminar Lecturer for the American Concrete Institute, member of the Chicago Committee on High Rise Buildings, Council on Tall Buildings, and numerous other organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and completed graduate work in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
